Welcome to Clay, Wood, Paper

I make functional stoneware pottery including dinnerware, tea sets, service pieces, and knitting bowls. Each piece is handmade, one at a time, using traditional methods, and decorated with designs inspired by nature. I have two main lines: Sgraffito and Mishima and Ash Blue.

Although I work primarily in clay, I have other pieces combining wood and clay and greeting cards

  1. Susan has made the pottery trophies for our Club’s (Western Carolina Dog Fanciers Assoc.) Dog Show & Rally and Obedience Trials for the past two years. Her pottery is loved by class winners and cub sponsors alike. She is so talented.
